“It is a serious mistake to neglect the public worship of God.” Ministry of Healing, page 511
I’ve known several young people and adults who feel no purpose in public worship.
I confess there are times when the church service fails to feed me spiritually.
Sometimes sermons are boring or fail to feed me.
But there is always something for us to do for others in public worship.
Our influence of just being there and when we reach out to others with conversation and encouragement, a divine purpose is served.
Public worship is more about serving others than being fed ourselves.
Like Jesus, we should always try to help others with our influence of being there, and by how we treat them in the process.
This is what public worship is meant to be.
I praise God for the examples Jesus gave to us.
