“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13
I don’t know about you, but my flesh seems to have a mind of its own.
It urges me to over eat, over sleep and a host of other things.
It takes willpower to overcome the flesh, and the apostle Paul encourages us to resist these internal powers of the body.
Our Christian freedoms are for spiritual issues, not the physical that would bring dishonor upon our ministry.
This counsel is helpful and wise for us to follow.
And following is possible only if we have a daily routine of Spiritual Exercise of prayer, Bible study and meditation on God’s Word.
I pray you will enjoy these freedoms and come close to Jesus.
