Prov. 2:8 “He guards the paths of justice,”

It is reassuring to know that God cares about justice.

He is just Himself as He deals with His creation.

His love exceeds justice as His grace is extended to you and me.

There is much injustice today in this broken world. You and I see it and hear about it nearly every day and our God grieves over it.

But, one day soon there will be an accounting and all will be made right.

In the meantime, we are here among this wickedness and it is our calling to be light. It is our calling to become like Jesus and share justice in our families and friends.

We can be salt of the earth and lighten dark places with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Exercise of Bible study, prayer and meditation upon God’s Word helps us throughout each day.

I praise God today for this help.

Please add your comments to this thought at the bottom of this post so others can be blessed through your words also.

You and I can benefit much from studying the life of Jesus. It will give us the same power from the Father that He received. Power that will slowly change our desires to be more pure. Power that will slowly help us to dislike sinful things. When our desires and “likes” change we can be used by God as a sweet aroma to help others.

Salvation is a one-to-one affair. Family or church worship isn’t enough to form and grow a relationship with God.

So, join me and spend time with God. Spiritual Exercises are fun, You’ll love it!

If Jesus spent all night in prayer then why do we think we need so little?

Jesus would arise early in the morning and go outside and find a place of seclusion to pray. He spent time with the Father and received strength. It allowed Him to resist temptation. It allowed Him to succeed in His mission.
