HOW HOLY IS YOUR DAY OF WORSHIP?

Ez 20:20 “And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.

Christians today have forgotten God’s requirements.

Christians today fail to keep God’s day of worship holy as they have made it a day of entertainment.

Throughout history Christians have kept either Saturday or Sunday holy as a day of worship, but suddenly in the lat 200 years this has been abandoned.

I encourage you to study and meditate upon this question and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

Please add your comments to this thought at the bottom of this post so others can be blessed through your words also.

You and I can benefit much from studying the life of Jesus. It will give us the same power from the Father that He received. Power that will slowly change our desires to be more pure. Power that will slowly help us to dislike sinful things. When our desires and “likes” change we can be used by God as a sweet aroma to help others.

Salvation is a one-to-one affair. Family or church worship isn’t enough to form and grow a relationship with God.

So, join me and spend time with God. Spiritual Exercises are fun, You’ll love it!

If Jesus spent all night in prayer then why do we think we need so little?

Jesus would arise early in the morning and go outside and find a place of seclusion to pray. He spent time with the Father and received strength. It allowed Him to resist temptation. It allowed Him to succeed in His mission.

  1. Rev.14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. To live through the last days of this earth's history we will need to keep God's commandments and receive the faith of Jesus as we daily die to self and are filled with His Spirit. We will need the faith of Jesus as we in a small way will have a similar experience as we find that all our senses are telling us that we are wrong and that God has forsaken us. I pray that I am willing to be made willing today and every day in this new year that I may receive a faith that will honor my Lord.

    Amen(1) (0)
