Gal 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Remember, this is “fruit” and not something we need to force ourselves to do out of guilty feelings.

If we try to force ourselves we will fail. It is only when we come close to Jesus that the Father gives us added power and our lives reflect the character of God.

All of our energy should firstly go toward Jesus, and then we will see things differently, and then we can be a blessing to others around us.

This is a wonderful plan that helps us to help others. And yet we so often fail to do our part and wander away from our Lord.

Sometimes our Bibles collect dust and we wonder why our life is so fruitless.

Come to Jesus this week with Bible study, prayer and meditation and things will begin to change.

I praise God for this plan for us to follow.

What say you about God today?

MySpiritualExerciseSmallYou and I can benefit much from studying the life of Jesus. It will give us the same power from the Father that He received. Power that will slowly change our desires to be more pure. Power that will slowly help us to dislike sinful things. When our desires and “likes” change we can be used by God as a sweet aroma to help others.

Salvation is a one-to-one affair. Family or church worship isn’t enough to form and grow a relationship with God.

So, join me and spend time with God. Spiritual Exercises are fun, You’ll love it!
