“Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7;25
Jesus is all the world to me!
He is my priest and He makes intercession for you and me.
He brings us into the very presence of the Father, a place reserved for those who haven’t rebelled.
He forgives us our sins and mistakes and covers us with His robe of righteousness.
I love Jesus more and more as I contemplate His love that forgives me of my rebellious nature.
As we spend time with God, our desires change and we slowly become more like Him, and our love for Him grows deeper and deeper.
We realize more fully how much God loves us and helps us with the Holy Spirit.
We now have a duty to tell others how God loves us and that this world as we know it is coming to an end.
Jesus said that He would come again and every eye shall see Him.
Those who are faithful will prepare the world for this event as they patiently wait for that glorious day.
Spiritual Exercise brings us closer and closer to God and then the Holy Spirit can work through us with more power.
I praise God for Jesus and His love that provides grace and forgiveness for you and me.
What say you about God today?
Spiritual Exercise is an important part of my daily regimen, and it should be a part of yours too. If you spend an hour a day doing physical exercise to keep in shape, then why not spend an hour a day doing spiritual exercise? If you spend an hour a day in leisure activities like watching TV, then why not spend an hour a day with God in Spiritual Exercise?
If Jesus spent all night in prayer than why do we think we need so little?
Jesus would arise early in the morning and go outside and find a place of seclusion to pray. He spent time with the Father and received strength. It allowed Him to resist temptation. It allowed Him to succeed in His mission.
You and I can benefit much from studying the life of Jesus. It will give us the same power from the Father that He received. Power that will slowly change our desires to be more pure. Power that will slowly help us to dislike sinful things. When our desires and “likes” change we can be used by God as a sweet aroma to help others.
Salvation is a one-to-one affair. Family or church worship isn’t enough to form and grow a relationship with God.
So, join me and spend time with God. Spiritual Exercises are fun, You’ll love it!
Share this if it has blessed you.
