To Be Loving

If I give all I possess to the poor . . . but do not have love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13

The apostle Paul got it right. And this from a man who could handle confrontation. A man who was stoned, beaten and reviled by wicked people.

It’s hard to be loving sometimes, like when it’s easy to show-off. Give an expensive gift meant to draw attention to the giver.

Jesus’ life is the perfect model, and today I want to emulate Him. That was my prayer to the Father this morning, and I hope it was yours also.

May God’s glory shine forth from your presence today as a result of your prayers and time spent with Him.

What say you about God today?

  1. Today I am especially reminded of God's love for us. He so loved us that He Gave His Only Begotten Son. In Matthew 24:12 Jesus said," And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Let's remember God's love for us so that our love will not grow cold. Let's love Him with all our hearts and let's love each other the way He has loved us.
